How to play Nerdle

Nerdle is a daily math puzzle: guess the hidden 8-character equation in 6 tries. Each guess must be a real equation: the left side has to actually equal the right side.

1. Type a valid equation, e.g. 12+34=46, and press Enter.
2. Tiles turn green when a digit or symbol is correct and in the right position.
3. Tiles turn purple when it's in the equation but in the wrong position.
4. Tiles turn gray when it doesn't appear in the equation at all.
5. Use the feedback to narrow down the equation within 6 guesses.

Numbers can't have a leading zero (except the number 0 itself), and division guesses must divide evenly. A new equation is generated automatically every day at midnight UTC, so everyone plays the same puzzle.
